Our story

When I first started Sports Stop, I was doing it all by myself.
I wasn’t able to join the broadcast team at Lancaster Catholic as a sophomore because it was limited to juniors and seniors. But I still wanted to be involved, so I created Sports Stop. It began as a small page where I posted short videos of Lancaster Catholic sports.
About a year later, I received a DM from the Manheim Township girls’ wrestling team inviting me to one of their matches. I had such a great experience that it made me realize I could do more than just one school.
After meeting with Nate Leonard, Lancaster Catholic’s athletic director, he connected me with Earl Hazel, the athletic director at Warwick. Mr. Hazel then introduced me to Dell Jackson, the former owner of LL Hoops. With Mr. Jackson’s support, I was able to expand my network and connect with countless athletic directors, coaches, PIAA officials, and media professionals.
